How do you deal with Azir early game as Diana

Mostly as Diana I feel like he just oppresses you so hard that by the time you hit 6 you are so low you can't fight him anyway. Lose so much CS that you are behind items. He also scales well so I don't get when the time to fight him is. If I tried to fight him he'll just dash backwards and if I keep chasing he'll R me into his tower. My R doesn't go through so I just get screwed.

He just destroys me and I can't find an answer other than "ask for a gank"

Take teleport. Play early game ridiculously horribly stupidly safe. Farm with Q, miss CS when you have to, don't let him bully you out before you can afford your first back. Somewhere in level 5(Typically, anyway) use your teleport to get a recall advantage, buying whatever component item you most prefer(I buy 2 Dorans and boots on my first B here personally, for mana sustain and ability to dodge soldiers.) - Get back to lane with your teleport advantage and literally just disrespect him the moment you hit 6(Or moment you get back, if you were already 6) if he hasn't gone back yet(Which he shouldn't have had time to.)

After that it's really just use your combo to clear waves and roam. If you can poke him with your Q and maybe get him low, go for it - But a good Azir isn't going to let you do much past that first recall advantage, roaming is really your best bet.

Save your flash and use it when you hard engage - When you all in and he R's you away, flash over his wall before using your second R to re-engage.

He's really a shitty matchup in general, to be honest.

sorry, you don't. you have two choices though.

  1. suffer or
  2. pick a ranged champion
