Is No One Else Still Unhappy With Fiora?

Champion Update and the Flawed Fencer

Is Riot going back and changing what was done or not?

Small rant, I apologize.

The art is.... worse than before. They took away her old three part cape, which was such a good idea and a huge part of her look. They took away her red hair. They took away any real beauty she had. She looks like she aged 15 years, went through multiple divorces, and developed a profound hate for children. She's essentially Cruella de Vil. I don't like how they changed her color scheme to pink/purple from red/yellow. Her old jacket with a popped collar gave her a dominant look, which is what (from what I know) they were going for. Now she just wears a white plate. Her hair used to actually blend with the dark to red colors, and looked whispy, but now its just like an odd bowl cut with a purple highlight. I actually bought a skin because I just didn't like her default splash at all.

Her game play is any better. Her old Q at least had a decent cooldown so that you could use the two charges and have a time where you needed to be cautious. Now you can just build cooldown and dash every 3 seconds. The vital game had so much potential, but the base stats for her abilities just made it an unfair niche that allowed her to make her opponent not even farm. The counter had a ton of potential too. Fiora as a duelist really needed something like parry or counter, but making an ability that just makes you immune to all incoming damage and only shoot back the CC isn't really a counter. I've seen Fiora's use the W more often to just block a mage burst then to actually counter someone in lane. Her ultimate is the worst of them. She is a duelist, and is supposed to thrive in 1v1's, not teamfights. Her trade-off is to not have a great multi fight presence, but now she gives an AOE heal. Why? And she doesn't even need to get the kill to get the heal. She looks more like a support with Braum sheild and a Janna ult.

It's just sad. Fiora was my first real main and I loved her old kit and splash. I refuse to play her now. She's not fun to play or to play against. Laning as her isn't a high skill intense duel, its just pressing Q and winning enough trades to all in, or if you aren't winning a trade just W their cc and run.

Maybe I'm just butthurt about it, but I feel like as a whole she was just ruined and turned into a perma-ban faceroll champ when I was expecting a Lee Sin skill level duelist.

Actually the splash art to the right (New Fiora) is not the correct version. Rito heard the feedback on the lack of red in her hair and they changed it. This is the official splash art for Classic Fiora: http://ddragon.leagueoflegends.com/cdn/img/champion/splash/Fiora_0.jpg

Regardless, her overall color scheme is totally different and the highlights don't blend at all.

I don't play FioraFiora nor have I played her regularly before the rework other than the occasional roll in ARAM, but I have no issues with her VU. I think the current art/design of her is on par with her lore. That she took on major responsibility for her family, and has this air of confidence and the look of a more mature woman. This, however, is my opinion and you have a right to your own.

I can't speak on the gameplay aspect of her either because like I said, I don't really play her all that often, but from what I've seen, it is not all that different from her old kit. She has her dash, an attack speed steroid, and the dodge (in riposte) but instead of autos, it's abilities. The vital gameplay is new, however, and I understand if you don't like it, but change is always hard to get used to.

I personally believe that she still is the Grand Duelist and to be completely honest, she is now more of one than before. A little too strong, but that's opening a whole new can of worms. Anyway, those are my thoughts, take them or leave them.

Yeah I don't really care for the new classic skin, her new walk animation is kind of weird as well, looks like a deer in low gravity

Except the splash your showing is not the correct one. They fixed it. They softened her features and fix her bangs, as well as reshaping parts of her, most noticeable on the chin. She looks the same age as her previous splash. I'd your going to make a post, use the correct info.

When Old Fiora left my enjoyment in League did as well~

Trust me, I'm still very unhappy with the changes, but odds of it being reverted, or changed more than it already was is slim to none. ;-;

She's just as unpleasant to fight as before, with the added bonus that she doesn't need to snowball as much :l

I still 100% agree lmao. She looked so much better before. I have headmistress fiora, and I would gladly refund it if they still allowed that through email. It's just not the skin that I bought originally, and Fiora isn't the champion I bought the skin for originally.

At the very least, when they do visual overhauls like this, they need to offer free refunds on all of the champion's skins. I have zero interest in playing Fiora, Graves, Quinn anymore and I'd rather trade my skins in that I have for those champions and get something that I'll actually use. (Even though Graves and Quinn weren't visual updates, their changes made me lose all interest in them.)

Fiora looks like a 45 year old divorce lawyer who's trying to stay "hip" and "trendy" by dying her hair purple, but also pops pills with her morning coffee.

Your also misinformed, that's not her correct splash. So much was changed, what you and op said are incorrect because of the changes they made to the splash. Like can you guys not open up ur client and see that the splash in this post isn't correct?

Alright, fair enough, I can admit that op posted the wrong splash.

What I said remains true though. I still don't like the splash art and I think the changes they made to it were kind of a shitty attempt at trying to make people happy. She still looks like she's made of wax and if I'm being honest, I'd like the other one better than the current one if I had to choose.

It's a moot point anyways, they aren't going to change it anymore, what's done is done. But I'd still like to be able to refund the skin that I have for her, since the likelihood of me ever playing her again is slim to none.

I honestly like her current splash art a lot more.

But her models got downgraded hard, the only ones that are still nice anymore are Headmistress and PROJECT. The other two skins got mangled with the VU imo. Her new base model is okay-ish, but I still can't stand the back of her head.

Her rework is done, time to move on.
