Don't steal a Buff from your own teammate

Feel like this should be a duh statement. Playing malphite top and pushed my lane all the way in, taking the enemy blue buff, and my adc just walks up and last hits it. How would that not be tilting? I don't get why you would do that to your team mate especially as an adc
