My favorite part about Sion is that you can actually see progress of you excelling in ways that seem invisible to other champions. He's so satisfying to play. My absolute favorite thing about him is his new ult. It's AMAZING. The fact that you can have hillarious near misses with it is really cool for everyone involved. And recovery from a miss is also just as important as landing it, as you can still be a huge asset if you are placed behind the enemy teams retreating path, getting a Q readied up.

Oh and I only jungle sion. Never took him in lane yet.

When im estatically happy with something, i tend to post it. I've not been this happy since Vel'koz and thne the freljord event.

HAHAHA YES THE SION MISSES. Just had game where there was a fight which was really close, but never fear SION TO THE RESCUE comes charging in from the side and....completely misses everyone. Our teamates died and I died myself because I was laughing too hard to move my champion. I think it's a cool idea that means you really have to know what you're doing with Sion to make it work. Keep up the good work Riot.

Good, because Riot didn't make up the entirety of Sion rework, they took the gigantic thread of a player's Sion redesign idea and implemented it into the game.

Good thing that community input is still taken and leads to positive effects.

Last time I was happy with Riot was when they hotfixed LeBlanc a week after she came out. I praised the lord and I don't even believe.

The worst part about the new Sion is when you get your Q charged up and right before you release it someone hits you with any form of CC and it just cancels. This literally means you just stood still for a few seconds doing nothing. I think the charged Q should still go off at what ever you charged it at.

I kind of agree. But it is a channeled ability....idk. It's hard to do damage with out it though. But any type of CC really shuts down sion, with the exception of when he uses his ult. I keep wishing he had a QSS ability....idk maybe I will try building QSS on him as my damage item path.

New sion? massive CD skills which also take time to charge? It feels like trying to drive a honda through molasses that revives as a ferrari on fire after the engine gives out. The only way you actually land his knockup is if the enemy team was already under hard CC

Take Sion in the jungle.
Get Spirit of the Ancient Golem.
Max Soul Furnace First, Decimating Smash Second
Sion can actually gank extremely well on a lane that is either even, or pushed.
Sion specializes in lane ganks post-6. Even if they dodge your ultimate, they're likely going to die or burn summoners anyways because you'll be behind them and able to slow them and Q them.
Go for 1 or 2 damage items (Spellblade item and another of your choosing).
He invades really well.

Except they are butchering the jungle in the preseason, so the SotAG we know and love on him will simply not exist.

As long as the 25% increase in bonus hit points exist on a jungle item then I fine. Riot kinda neutered his base HP and that bothers me a lot seeing as how they gave him a passive that is supposed to increase it. So it doesn't really feel like his strength, more like an weakness with no payoff afterwards.
