Sion is the most satisfying champion I have ever played. Partially due to his Voice/Sounds.

I loved the old Sion, but the new sion is just so much more comfortable. I do miss the arnie voice like everyone else who played him, but the gameplay is just more interesting with the new one.

The new VA for Sion is Scott McNeill. He also voices Hecarim and Maokai in League and in a LOT of other things.

Yep. I saw his voice on it and was amazed it was him. No wonder it took so long on the PBE, must've been all the screaming lines taking a toll on his voice.

I was just about to create a thread saying the exact opposite of this. Sion's new voice is the worst one since Nasus in terms of replacing awesome voices.

I have to agree with you here. To me it sounds ridiculously forced, like a 15 yr old trying to sound like they have a deep voice. It just comes out sounding nasally and over the top dramatic. If it weren't so nasally it would actually sound scary.

I'm honestly really disappointed in this Sion update. He's so entirely item dependent now, needs ridiculous amounts of armor for survivability, and if you build HP your passive lasts an even shorter amount of time (hp loss is by %) because your life-steal is not enough. He's like a Tryndamere without the benefit of actually being able to survive. Their goal was to supposedly reinforce the ad style of play, but IMO they reinforced his old AP style of playing. He's got a short burst of damage, and can go train-mode into an enemy. His Q takes so long to charge that it's borderline worthless.

New sion sounds and looks amazing, however his skills need work, the Q in particular is clunky.

I actually think his skills are fine. His Q feels pretty good, it's not a skill you use and spam at any given moment. You can use it to cut off someones retreat and force flashes, or use in tandem with your allies CC.
