On the contrary, I have been playing a SHIT TON of poppy since her rework and I feel she's very powerful in jungle. Check out my match history.
Her first clear is a little rough, but if you use your passive and stun creeps against walls well she can full clear without ending up too low on health. Her ganks are good IF you can position well. Flanking the enemy is key. Knock them into a wall or towards your team, W, and slam Q on them. They'll HAVE to flash or die. Remember if you don't charge up R it knocks them up instead of away. You can't hurt them while they're airborne, but it lets your cooldowns come back up and I'm pretty sure they still take damage from AoE effects on the ground over the area they're "standing" while they're airborne. A wall stun, Q, R, then W and chase slowing/damaging with Q will ruin most champs.
Once I have Cinderhulk and a Sheen I hit like a train while staying pretty tanky. This midgame time feels like her strongest to me. I've been able to out duel people I had no right dueling this way. Shyvana. Lee Sin. Rengar. Narrow jungle makes for easy stuns into walls and her Q hits HARD. W prevents cheese escapes and you can R them if you get in over your head. R is also very strong in objective fights. I've ulted away an enemy or two as they're doing dragon and my team has dove the rest to net quick kills and secure the objective. It works with baron too. xD
Come late game she falls off in her damage, and while you still can duel some champs decently or threaten a squishy enough to make him back off or die, but her real strength NOW is teamfighting and being a powerful front line. She can peel, she can scare off or block assassin dives, and she can turn fights around easily with one good E or R. She needs her teammates now though, since she can't carry a game herself.... so I hope you got them fed.
Playing a lot of poppy jungle, it feels like she's a good, solid, balanced champ. I like that she isn't super-mechanically complex but that there is a lot of depth to how you use her. Her positioning and choices feel like they matter a LOT. If you're a poor decision maker, she'll feel weak. She isn't really a hard initiator tank, sewing disruption and chaos like Malphite... But she can pick a team apart like a surgeon IF you know where you need to be and what you need to do.
She might be less impressive in high elo where most players don't make dumb choices, but in the mire of Silver I've been having a lot of luck with her... I only seem to fail in those games when my entire team is feeding or refuses to cooperate. Poppy NEEDS teamwork. She can only lone-wolf for a little bit in the mid game when she's strongest.
That said, I'm no pro... just some scrub silver player who loves this champ. My match history in team builder should speak for that. I'm prob gonna take her into ranked soon.
