What a compliment! Thank you very much. I can tell ya what though, he wouldnt sound nearly as good if I didnt have the team behind me giving me feedback and direction. Our audio team relies on giving each other very honest and candid feedback. With it, it allows us to try and push the limits of our current skill level and hopefully ultimately grow in our craft.
But hearing that people are satisfied with our work is amazing. And thank you for letting us know!

and c) hiring the best. Scott Mcneil is one of the best and well known voice actors out there, and he did an outstanding job on sion
His voice is so perfect. He really does sound like an undead brute. It's probably already my favorite voiceover.
I personally think it is one of the tackiest voices. You can tell someone is voice acting it...and that is not how it should be.
look at the model size on warmonger sion. Like rly. He's the size of a turret no exaggeration there, he's just as wide and just a smidgen shorter. It's awesome

I hate to say it as I love how the new Sion sounds, but there are two champions who I find ultimately better in terms of voice and audio quality. Nasus' booming and deep voice compiled into an audio filter that makes it sound kind of echo-like is just fantastic for the champion that he is in terms of lore and his sheer size. Then, as much as he is a hated champion, Yasuo's voice actor (Liam O'Brien) did a fantastic job and is probably one of my favorite voice actors. When they brought him on to do Yasuo, I fanboy'd the hell out.
And maybe it's just me, but I don't think that there are that many female champions that quite reach the audio quality that most champions have been able to meet as of today's standards. Perhaps, if there is ever a VU or a rework for any of the female champions in the near future, we could see something done about it? Honestly the only two female champs that I believe meet today's standards are Jinx and Vi, and they're two of the most recent lady champs.
I absolutely love when someone emotes at me, and I reply with Sion's laugh. It's the best defense to emote spammers!
I have to agree. Whenever I play Sion now I can't help but feel awesome with a voice like that.
While I can't fully agree that he is the best in terms of sound (be it voice and effects) I can admit they did an amazing job with his sounds over all. I know it is a bit of a small blip compared to his other notable noises but I found his ultimate to be the best out of them in terms of just getting a raw feeling from it. The dull quick sound of a what I think is a gong sounding off makes my heart sink a little as I just know he is on his way and about to slam into someone on my team.
