So the next stop after Marksmen's is Immobile Mages?

Check out our preseason Q&A roundup!

From what Meddler says " Immobile mages in particular are one of the classes we're thinking of tackling next and some item adjustments would likely be part of that process as with Marksmen/Juggernauts.”

Who do you think will be candidates of this rework? It's very clear for me.

Swain Malzahar Brand

Swain and malzahar are kinda unique already, I don't think they need reworks. The ones I had in mind were Velkoz Xerath Brand , since they're pretty much the same champion... lots of long range aoe dmg with some CC, very squishy and with no escape.

Don't give a crap about velkoz and xerath but if they could gut brand enough that I'd never see him again it would make me so happy.

And fizz. Fuck fizz.

They've mentioned repeatedly how immobile mages in general have issues being made distinct from each other. Typically mages have the following among their kit:

  1. Poke spell
  2. AoE spell
  3. Utility spell

You see it in a lot of League's mages, even as recently as Vel'Koz. I imagine just like Riot has made a point of making each ADC different beyond "deal damage to the enemy", they'll make a point of focusing on each mage's identity too.

I'd personally like to see Swain get a total rework and Malzahar lose the uninteractive lane push + mana restore DoT

Cassiopeia Xerath SyndraSwain Malzahar these are by far the most notable for me

I'm amazed no one has noted Anivia or Zyra... or even Velkoz.

Anivia still sees some play here and there, but Zyra and Vel'Koz have both been in incredibly bad spots for too long now.

Vel'koz has his place, I'd hate to see his kit reworked into something worse when it's already decent.

Zyra does need a minor re-haul though.
