Reav3 Could you give us top ten of a requested for a VGU list in incoming Dev Blog?

For those who have not known before. This list is the biggest factor (but not only one) to determine which champ should brought on the table for rework. Currently we know only 4 of it.

  1. Yorick
  2. Galio
  3. Evelyn

I think Warwick is surely one in this list (maybe number 5 or 6) so there are only 5 we haven't known yet. Reav3 could the team give us the rest?

A bit too late on that as the DevBLog is currently being localized. I likely wouldn't add that list anyway even if it wasn't though.

The reason being that the list is constantly changing and I'm sot sure how useful it would be to post what the list is at any given moment in time. The Devblog would likely be referenced in the future, much like you have referenced my old post as the definitive list, even though it isn't.

For example, the list currently looks like this today:

  1. Yorick
  2. Urgot
  3. Nunu
  4. Warwick
  5. Galio
  6. Singed
  7. Evelynn

It will likely look very different a month from now. This is why we generally look at trends overtime rather then what the list is at one particular point in time. When talking about updates we usually talk about the top 10-15 that appear in the top #10 a lot.

EDIT: Just to clarify in case people don't read the post this thread is referring to. This is the ever changing list of champions players think need a VGU the most based on our survey data we periodically send out to players.

Warwick will be the next Rework after Yorick, they're currently working on him :V

I have a feeling Skarner is on this list somewhere towards the lower top 10. Many of his mains are pretty annoyed with how all his past reworks just didnt get executed well and Reav3 has stated he is now on the VGU list.

Okay but what about Sona? She needs a massive rework on her visuals and some of her moves

if the ryze team is working on warwick then we know hes in good hands.

Why do we need to know more than these few? Unless they approach reworks with the same philosophy as new champs (i.e. trying to hit all roles fairly equally), we can pretty much expect Galio and Evelynn next year unless they opt for Urgot instead of Galio since they haven't given a VGU to a marksman since Sivir.

Warwick is currently being worked on, and since Yorick is almost finished (PBE), his team is probably transitioned to the next update. Current community speculation points to Urgot Galio Evelynn as the next major 3 options.

We also have to keep in mind the Roster Update team is working on Assassins. The candidates getting larger work are Katarina Leblanc Rengar Talon . There will also be some smaller scope work on other assassins, but we do not know who that will be yet. Community speculation points to Fizz Khazix . When going over other Assassin candidates, it was pointed out that there will be some work done to the Stealth system and Akali Evelynn Shaco need VGUs instead of being part of the Roster Update.

Other champions farther down the list for VGUs probably include Chogath Irelia DrMundo Kayle Mordekaiser Aatrox .

We can also count on a Roster Update next mid-season probably, which is going to most likely focus on Divers or Tanks.
