Ok, So when you cast rivens ultimate she "rebuilds" her sword, and gets bonus damage, but when she casts the 2nd part of her ult, she still has the bonus damage, even tho you used the sword fragments during your "wind slash" so riven presses R, snipes someone from a far gets triumph heal and STILL has all the bonus AD, make it so when she casts "wind slash" her bonus AD gets removed, because it makes more sense this way
Her ult isn't her pieces tho, its literally called "Wind Slash" its a slash of wind created from the force of the full sized sword lmao. If you want a nerf just say a nerf, dont try to justify it with your own headcanon
Riven is fine..
There was a huge debate about this which many rioters chipped in on, I think the problem lies in spear of shojin being just too good on her, a nerf to that item might possibly tone her power down
Riven's Wind Slash is literally the same thing as Yasuo's third Q, in lore. It doesn't reduce her auto range/Q AoE back to normal after she casts it, as her ult is still in effect for the entire duration no matter when she casts the execute.
This is not what makes Riven obnoxious. Her passive + AD scaling shield while having access to Conqueror and literally breaking the game (animation cancels) is.
I find it funny how 1.Riven main don’t struggle getting to challenger 2.She has only been buffed since release 3. Beats most meele champs no contest and usually wins every trade with her insane shield and cc and mobility 4. She has only 1 real counter, kennen who beats litterally every top laner who isn’t a mage 5. She has the highest play rate and wr in top lane since the beginning of Season 7 6. Every rune works very well on her 7. New spear of shojin is amazing on her 8. Deaths Dance is the best item for her to build and rushes it no problem 9. Riven mains who have her banned in games do much worse then other players off their main 10.(similar to 9) She has a very easy kit as guess what, every champ has auto and animation cancelling in their kit and she does every fighter champs job better 11. Not fun to play against.(if you haven’t just think of yas, Darius and garen were combined into one champ 12 free LP enhanced as she just does so well into almost all matchups.
this would not nerf riven enough nor would it make any sense, but I do agree, nerf riven.
So basically just make it so casting Wind Slash ends the ultimate prematurely?
I mean, I'm for it.
I just think they need to revert the damage buffs they gave her windslash a season or two ago
