I'm sick of seeing Rivens destroy people no matter what.

I played a game recently where there was a riven on the enemy team who got killed by out xin top 3 or 4 times. She had no kills in lane. Lane phase ends, she roams and starts destroying everyone, the team cant do anything to her unless xin was there.

i've even started playing her more recently myself, and it's pathetically simple. A casual game I play as riven gets me around 12 kills and under 4 deaths, it's not even remotely hard. I played a game recently where I was like 10-1, going GLASS CANNON. The champ sickens me.

Reasons she is too strong: 1- She can't be slowed since her dashes are a fixed range. The only CC that works on her are stuns and knockups. 2- She has around a 500hp shield on a 5 second cooldown, making trading with her difficult. 3- Her dashes close crazy distance, if nearly impossible to catch her, or run from her, unless you have shitloads of movespeed. 4- her q Cooldown actually starts ticking after the activation Of the first Q. If spaced apart, she can q endlessly with 2-3 second between casts. 5- The E spell, a SHIELD, scales with AD. How does that make sense? It's a spell that blocks damage, and shield icons magically float around her. It should be changed like Irelia's E to scale with AP. 6- Her passive is a little too strong. 30% is too high a number, can Rito at LEAST try to make it 25% and see what happens? 7- A Ranged, AOE Execution ult that travels really fast. Does scaling damage on enemy's missing HP. Seriously? ITS AN AOE GAREN ULT

I'm sure that if i thought harder, i could come up with more, but it's steadily approaching the TLDR mark now, so i'll stop there.

Don't try to tell me that she's a fair and balanced champ, but on the off chance that you do, I want to hear your reasons WHY you think she is, in full detail.

I just destroyed an enemy team 8/0/5 as garen top they were all AD they had a a riven riven was fed, riven killed herself about three times by hitting be because I had a thornmail/sunfire/armor boots I also had a ga and was starting warmogs then we won

PROTIP: silence her and GG she cant do anything literally I Q'ed her and that solved all your problems with riven (the dash the ult the sheild the Q ect)

I think her ult is pretty disgusting too. What if it was like Zed's Razor Shuriken "ACTIVE: Zed throws his spinning blades forward, dealing physical damage to the first enemy they pass through and 60% damage to enemies thereafter."

That way your front line could try and place themselves between riven and their teammates to mitigate her ult's damage. it would split off too. like they could block a portion of it.

Agreed she's op. I think the biggest problem is that her shield, if you were able to trade with her without her being tanky on and off throughout a fight it'd be more fair. Ignites are useless against her for this reason as well.

She is just another one of those champions where they just spam their keys on CD without a care in the world, and its up to you to outplay them. There are a lot of champs like this, like Zed, Leblanc, etc. Where anytime you fight them you have to spend the entire time REACTING to them while they just do whatever they want, anytime they want, and it takes you reacting to them and outplaying their kits to stand a chance against a guy who is like, "Hey my skills are off CD lets roll face like a Ryze and see what happens." "Oh, look how much I out played that guy by spamming all my abilities!"

I think the problem is, we just need to focus on playing these champs. Do you win every game on them? No. Hell you can lose games going 20/0. Its a team game afterall. But playing these kinds of champs with kits that allow you to just play your own game and force everyone else to react to you, outplay you significantly, or suffer, is probably the best thing to do. Especially in low elo where the reaction-type outplays is not going to happen very often. There is a reason some noob Zed can just ult anytime he wants, spam his abilities and R out like hes on Ryze, and the enemy bronze/silver/gold person simply doesn't have the required reaction time or skills to stop it.

What annoys me the most is people who continually think they are outplaying everyone when they are on Riven, Zed, etc. when they really arent outplaying anyone. They have full freedom on being able to do whatever they want, and its the enemies' job to outplay them because they are already at disadvantages because of the kits. I know the first time I played zed, I didnt even know how to do his rotation. I hit 6, I just R'd onto someone and spammed all my abilities, and then hit R again. Pop. I was like, wtf is this? Are you serious? Why haven't I been playing this champion? I mean, I would eventually hit a cap where the enemy was good enough to shut down my noob plays, but I'm fully aware that I could focus on these Riven/Zed champs and gain elo I probably didn't deserve, just because I was carried to a higher skill level by my champion picks and kits alone. I was honestly surprised how easy it was to dumpster people on Zed. Did I fail some? I did. But it didn't matter. Champs like Riven/Zed have the benefit of being hard to punish for failing. I failed a good bit of ults but never payed for it. Lots of rivens fail all-ins but you cant punish them for it.

There are some champs which are just godlike solo Q champs. I think we should all just spam those champs. You won't win eveyr game or lane playing someone like Riven, but you have a far higher chance by playing a champ like Riven.

I destroyed a Riven as Vlad earlier, but then again anecdotes don't solve much.
