Roar of the Slayer needs a nerf

Personally, I'm thinking Sion's E is a bit overpowered. Let's look at the facts.

Yes, it's got a pretty long cooldown, but that's basically the ONLY bad thing about it. 35 mp at all ranks is piddly. It's not stopped by minions (in fact it's HELPED by hitting a minion) does surprisingly large damage, especially if it hits a minion into the enemy, and it inflicts a huge slow. Not to mention how *fast *the skill comes out, reacting to it is nearly impossible without a dash of some sort.

Compare with Lissandra's Q: He can't throw it out nearly as often, but he's doing comparable damage before building AP and flat out better damage if you hit a minion with it (Lissandra will be trying to do this as well), costs him almost nothing, *and *it has outrageously better range for hitting a minion.

Any nerf request regarding Sion goes into the "omg bronze scrub stfu and l2p" cathegory.

He is absolutely garbage right now along with his E.

His E does like no damage without it hitting something first and requires him to push the lane to do damage (assuming this is laning Sion). Stop the QQing and learn to play against it.

Sion is considered weak right now, he is in no need for nerfs.

The rest of his kits mana costs are pretty high. It's the only mana cost that is somewhat low in his kit and it does the least for him unless he can follow up with a Q.

Given how hard it is to excel with Sion, a nerf to him feels pretty insulting. I mean, you've got to be against a Godly Sion player or just plain old make massive mistakes for Sion to really be effective in lane.

Personally, since the Sion rework, i've loved his kit and changes. I've not yet lost any matches in-lane after learning him, and he's a monster in team fights later on with all the CC and engagement capabilities he has.

His QWE parts of his kit let him farm minions in lane well, which help him quickly accelerate to a larger health pool. E's not actually that strong, it's just the simple fact that it's magic damage when most people are building armor against him. The E's perfectly balanced, just grab a negatron cloak and the E only tickles. You just have to worry for the follow-up W or Q to stun you for a few seconds, especially in early laning.

Easiest way to beat Sion is to poke aggressively when his shield's down in lane using a safe type of engagement ability (Rengars bush-dive, Lissandra Q and W, so on) and he's not that scary. Playing against a good Sion, he'll start W, max E first, Max W second, and max Q last (since it's more currently with Sions item build path a resource skill used for it's CC rather than damage). If you build some magic resist you'll generally do fine against Sions poke.

It's a bit easily predictable due to the animation it shows, and it's usually followed by Sion saying something like 'This is what passes for war' and junk. Just don't stand in a line with a minion between him and you and you'll have no troubles.

For Sion, unless he's building a lot of AD and maxing Q the majority of his damage will actually be magic (E harass, W explosion). He HAS to push the wave to use his E harass, and he needs a straight line from him, a minion, and you to land it. Make sure you move so Sion has to get in a really awkward position to land E, and then kite left/right out of the way. Ask your jungler for a gank if he tries to E harass, since his only escape is his ult (a reasonably large cooldown early game) and he pushes the wave with every skill.
