Illaoi players in denial?

Ok, so basically every body in this fucking game knows how stupidly OP Illaoi is, like if you're playing against her you literally just can't straight up teamfight against her and her team even when she's behind cause your carries will simultaneously 100-0 just from being near her.

No matter how weaknesses, that in and of itself is simply stupid, and for the most part the community is on the same page, all except for one type of person..... the Illaoi players themselves!

Like I know since the start of this game the people who spam the OP champs have a tendency to live in denial of how broken their champs are, but with Illaoi her strength is so overwhelming and the community is so one sided when it comes to how OP she is, so I'm 100% confused as to how the people spamming her in any queue are so adamant about her having "easily utilized weaknesses"......

No matter what you say to any of these players, enemy team or even your own team, they will almost always have some copy/paste answer about how you can walk around all her damage and some other shit like that, even though when she ults you can't avoid anything and you can't kill her cause of the stacking healing on her tentacle damage. It literally makes no fucking sense to me how almost every single Illaoi player is so keen on her not being OP when almost everyone else in the community is aware of the fact that she definitely is.

Think of playing against Illaoi like playing against Darius. You let them get the prolonged fight to stack their passive they win. However if you kite them around the map and stay moving in a team fight you make it very hard for Illaoi to do anything with her tentacles and thus cut most of her damage in half. Her ult is extremely easy to avoid and walk out of I dunno why you have such a hard time doing that. Were you like super slowed by a thresh ult when she ulted you or what? I think i've seen more failed Illaoi ults due to teams just walking away(you know like they do with a pantheon ult?) than Illaoi actually landing ones that do work. Half the time she is lucky to get one or two people in her ult.

As someone who has never played Illaoi, I don't think she's nearly as problematic as you say she is.

Seriously I find this funny, because when I play as Illaoi, players in the rift, or in the Poro king game Howling Abyss I don't usually have problems, since I know what I'm doing. Yes, you can literally avoid her pulls, & tentakills easily with jukes. A good player predicts where you will move to next, & an even better player knows how to get into the enemies head, & deceive them with their actions. Simply put, Illaoi's going to spirit grab you, then you walk into a predictable spot that isn't as predictable as she thought it was, & then simply walk back, & let her burn her mana on a wasted q, & or Spirit. That goes with any player. And when this is done enough, she will either be oom, low on gold, & she falls hard mid, to late game without kills/gold. If you are running from her after you do manage to get caught in her test of spirit, & run away, then don't let her full on minute of tentakill hell plague you, destroy three tentakills, whilst swiftly avoiding their hit boxes, Which have also been fixed & it will end. She's easy when you know how to fight her, & it's easier to complain about a champion you struggle with, than to seek out the easy methods to punishing her. I wish a fish would grab my spirit early-game. I don't play around, I go in, & wail on her, till she leaves me, & that's when I'm baiting her in. Illaoi needs to be in one area with her tentakill spawns to get the most out of her tentakill damage. If she get's too far, she has to spawn new tentakills, so I bait her into thinking she got my spirit, & then she is ironically in my situation, fighting for MY spirit, & I'm just wailing on her until she flees; I noticed mind games can win you your lane more often when you go against players who are blinded by other things when the goal is waving at them saying: "Helloo?? Could you focus?" The kill-hungry ones, & arrogant ones are more sceptical to falling for them. They are blinded, thus easily malleable. Have you ever tried Jinx top? Hell, Sona top is OP as hell! But guess what? It works, all it takes is you to get to know your enemy, & their Jungler, vision, & some thinking. With that, I think you could top as just about anyone. I even had a match where a Bard was top, & he nearly carried! [slayer-pantheon-thumbs]

She's not that mobile. Let the tanks tank and make sure she never gets to the carries.
