I am suprised not many people play karma

Just look at her numbers, and there is some crazy shit you can do.

Say you have 650 AP, are level 18, and have max CDR.

The total damage on R-Q at max rank is 785 (+975) magic damage, in an AOE, with a 50% slow attatched.

Or you can use R-W, which deals 260 (+ 585) magic damage to one guy, rooting the guy for 3.25 seconds, and healing her for 20(+7)% of her missing HP twice.

Then we have R-E. Not as appealing as the others, but if you have a hypercarry, shielding them for 410 (+ 520) health, along with a 60% speed buff, could help you in teamfights a bit.

Your ultimate itself is key, but with 40% cdr, that is on a 21.6 second cooldown. At this point, thanks to your passive, each spell hit reduces your ult cooldown by 3 seconds, and each auto reduces it by 1.5. Say you hit them with 1 W and 2 Q's after you burn your ulti. The W hits 3 times, and brings it down to 12.6, and the 2 Q's bring it to 6 seconds.

Oh, and that is if you are fighting one guy. Say you are in a teamfight, and you land your full R-Q on all 5 somehow. Your passive procs per target hit. This means that the initial damage brings it down to 6.6 seconds. The secondary hit will refresh the spell.

More realistically, if you land it on their frontline, maybe 3 champs, your full R-Q will bring your mantra down to a 3.6 second cooldown.

Tl;dr: If Karma becomes FOTM we are fucked until Galio-senpai saves us all.

only read tl;dr , but a good karma is nasty.

i only know this by first hand experience, as i only play karma when i get bored of Braum Janna my typical SUPPORT build ends up being item 3158 item 3165 item 3089 item 3135 item 2049

i'll typically out damage and out-itemize (reach further build before ) my mid laner. as support.

She is beyond god-tier kiting, and yet she has some hefty burst, which is insanely easy to land.

I suppose her weakness is that you can miscast your E on a minion XD

i agree, i definitely think she is a hidden god

I agree with you, Karma's really underrated. But for the most part, as a utility support or mage, Lulu just does the job better, imo.

she's really boring to use

it´s just outright depressing to play the new one when you know what a great champ has been lost in order to make her...

Karma mid is an absolute lanebully, believe it or not. Shield yourself, run up to them, W, wait for root R-Q and theyre are halflife without any form of counterplay except a dash. Few champions can outtrade this combo. If somebody can, you just poke them with your Q and kill them afterwards. She can also escape ganks pretty well if you use her skills and especially her ult wisely.

They out trade it because you run yourself oom with full combo.

I suspect the main reason Karma isn't played much isn't because she's bad (She's actually quite good) but because she's generally very dull and she's not in the current meta where you want your support to be a tank and there are a lot of mids that do what she does mid better (like TF).

Karma is middle of the road that's why. If we are talking as a support, unless the enemy is bad you will not have much sucessfully against tank supports who will shrug off your damage with relic shield and pots to the point that you will literally go OOM without getting close to killing them. If you want cc, plenty of other champs do that better with actual stuns or snares that are not conditional upon putting a squishy champion at close range of the target and apply faster, which is critical for saving folks from death. For shields and speed, there are plenty of Champions that do that just as well. When going for damage, Brand and Annie do that better.

At midlane, most mages have combos that do more damage than Karma because they have actual ults. Her RQ hits like a truck, but try and remember that it is two spells, and conditional upon them being stupid enough(or rooted by w) to stay in the zone. RW is great for le baits. RE, is super situational. Her mobility is reasonable, but champions with actual mobility exist like Ahri.

TLDR : Karma is a good all around champion, but other champions do parts of her better. She's in a healthy spot right now, good enough to be worth playing but not Freelo broken.

She's good. That's why I main her.

She's able to deal with most top laners. She's good against melee champions in general. As a support though... she seems to lack the oomph. Her spells scale so well with AP that they become weak if she doesn't build any.

I'd personally like if her E got these changes:

E (Inspire) Cooldown from 10/ 9.5/ 9/ 8.5/ 8 sec to 11/ 10/ 9/ 8/ 7 sec. R+E (Defiance) speed duration from 1.5 sec to 1.5/ 1.75/ 2/ 2.25 sec based on mantra rank.

I recall playing against Karma on ARAM... That is just hell because R + Q = Move over Nidalee's Q we have a new absurd poke.
