@Meddler et al., please don't nerf champs just for worlds anymore.

It just seems really crappy that you weren't able to balance the champs for every tier of player in time for worlds, but if it can't be done then just let it ride. Let picks and bans decide what gets through without making it seem like what the average person has been playing all year isn't suitable to be played at the highest level.

It's like I want to see the race car driver drive my car in a way that is insanely awesome.

I don't want to see the racing league take the engine out of my car at the last minute and put in a go kart engine and then have the driver shake his head and pick a different car.

Yeah!

If you ruin a few things other things just become the pick bans.

You might as well just let the current iteration of the game go through without messing with it solely because of pro play.

We want to see them play the game we've been playing, not a watered down just for them version.

The pro scene will always just use the best champions available to them and use them every game if not the next best thing.

There is over 130 champions in this game, and usually we only see 4 champions per role + pocket picks.

As much as I love Rek'sai, and really hate her being gutted, the fact is she was overcentralizing in LCS and ranked team 5v5s. A bit depressing rek'sai wasn't in worlds at all after such a strong lcs reputation but then it was just taken over by olaf and lee instead.

This is why riot has to nerf things based on LCS, not only does it balance ranked team 5s which people keep forgetting (if its broken in 5v5 lcs game, wtf is the difference between lcs and a ranked 5v5 challenger game?) but people don't want to see the same shit over again when they can instead be seeing their mains in competitive.

There will always be a strongest pick.

If you can't fix it then it's a balancing issue that needs to be addressed in a way that doesn't ruin the champion long before worlds start, or gut them sooner.

Either way, but doing it just for worlds is a douche move.
