why do people even try to defend her?
ancient coin line is really overtuned right now, and it's showing up with champions like Thresh or Janna having absurd winrates and playrates.

shits on Janna so badly. And Thresh has the highest skill floor of any support.

I'm genuinely curious, I don't think i've seen Janna anywhere in the past month except once and that was me playing her. What's so powerful about her? Unless they're insanely fun (like Bard) I feel like whatever I wanna do as support (except healing) Thresh can do it.
Gimme a few reasons why someone would wanna pick Janna above like Thresh, I'm a tad desperate to come up with reasons to tell myself why I shouldn't pick Thresh in every game.

As a Thresh main I still don't get all the Thresh hate, yet Janna is flying under the radar. She is so easy to use and is extremely effective and consistent with her peel / utility. I have had support autofills pick her and end with a score like 0/4/20 (estimated but you get the idea.) They even said they pick her because of how easy she is to use yet very effective with her kit. Sit back, give shields, and occasionally tornado some peeps off your team with a slow or two.
Shes good because shes amazing at peeling lethality abusers like talon and zed
still 0% playrate in lcs :( which is what i dont really understand. sure its way harder to use her when enemys are coordinated but cmon. JANNA IS OP
Janna gets carried just like most non-play making supports. This is nothing new, Janna is just getting lucky so people are thinking it's her doing the work. If anything it's just her peel, nothing more than that.
