The last time Stashu was AFK, he used the tournament as an excuse for why she was abandoned...

He's not going to use the current LCS to explain away the absence of anything on Cassiopeia is he?

Can you really call it abandoned when he did what was told to do? He was told to rework Cass and make it viable. He wasn't told to specifically adhere to all of the demands of the specific boards community of fervent cassiopeia fans.

That wasn't the abandonment. The abandonment was the part where he was absent until after the new forums came up.

He even admitted he was absent for too long. And he specifically stated it was because he was busy watching the tournament.

I'd like to state a few things:

A lot of Cassio "mains" are actually scripters, or are incredibly bad at her, sometimes a good amount of people whine just to whine when they don't play her.

Cassio is fairly strong when played correctly, I played her as support multiple games last season and carried my team, this being traditional support, not "lol I'm a mage in bot lane" support.

A job like his requires intense analysis of professional games. It gives him insight as to what makes certain champions strong and how they can be better brought into line, or other champions can be brought to that level. I'd rather take the wisdom of a guy who successfully can analyze professional games than what a gold player thinks is necessary.

Absence and Abandonment are two different things. If a mother leaves her 11 year old home alone for a few hours to go get groceries or other necessities. She is absent from the household yes? She did not abandon her child. This analogy fits because if he's in charge of Cassio, it's his child at the moment. He is off gathering knowledge and brainstorming (getting groceries) to help Cassio.(support the child's growth.) Just chill the fk out, realize that they've also planned to do MULTIPLE reworks of champions in 2015, they've announced a good number of them. Shaco is slated, I believe Yorick is, they're juggling about seven potential reworks.

You uh...might not want to use the mother going for groceries and child analogy. Because the two are literally the same thing in that situation.

Asides from that, I never said a thing about her EVER being weak or UP. Hell, how OP or UP Cass is have always been a Red Herring since it's the easiest thing possible to fix.
