Little fun fact about Jungle upgrades, and some thoughts on PBE changes
From Hunter's Machete to the 4 Smite Upgrades, as of right now, it costs 350 gold to upgrade them.
Interestingly, depending on how good your leash and level 1-2 clear time is, if you start at one buff camp then immediately rush to the next, you will have exactly 350 gold. This unlocks much earlier access to Smite Upgrades and their upgraded sustain and their upgraded magic damage. This is not exactly the most powerful strategy and certainly not the best for certain situations, but it does wonders to help either the Junglers who can't clear more than 2-3 camps in their first rotation and are bound to go back anyway, gives a decent enough option to do something if you were afraid of an early level counter jungle, and helps out the Junglers who especially benefit from the effects of Blasting Smite, where shaving off the extra time to achieve Trailblazers can contribute to getting an early grip on the Jungle.
I wanted to point this out because of the apparent change going on in the PBE. Jungle Smite upgrades will be 450 gold to buy instead of 350. If the goal of the double buff trick is to minimize the time necessary to get your gold and quickly get your Smite upgrade for the least amount of effort, then this goal is nigh impossible to achieve with 100 extra gold. I guess it could be possible to forgo the two pots at the start, but this only puts the especially weak Junglers, the ones who can utilize this trick the most, in the most risk. It's problematic in that the change really only seems to punish the weakest of Junglers out there, while not really doing anything at all to curb down the best of the best (Lee Sin, for example, has no problem with a three camp first rotation).
