Assuming Rito has someone who goes through this looking for what the players are talking about, I just felt like I should post what we all think.

My friends and I que in for 5 man and each separately now have 20 to 30 games on the new mode. and we think it is fun, but just a few concerns.

  1. The minion colors throws EVERYONE off. We are all used to blue being ally, red being enemy. I caught a friend of mine freaking out that he couldn't hit the minions cause his natural gamer instinct was red minions are the enemy. So being on the red side, he kept trying to farm his own minion and thought he was bugging out. Not huge but a slight change would probably be nice for everyone.

  2. Active items are bugging out. I played a match where i wanted to do a kayn hybrid with ghost boots and cutlass but i couldn't go through walls with the boots and cutlass wouldn't prock. Similar situation happened when i got a zhonyas and....well you can guess what didn't happen when i tried to use it.

  3. I got stuck in a wall after using the cannon from base. THAT IS FUN!!!! But not when Jhin gets to just stand there and gun me down cause i cant move.

  4. Only saw it in one game but it happened a couple times. Blitz hook went THROUGH the minions.

I don't know if anyone has seem these things, but i just thought i'd leave a note. All in all, the mode is fun. Please keep it coming

My only problem I've had is some of the objectives spawn points, especially king of the hill. Like obviously when half the circle is under one teams turret, they're going to win that event.

Well, it is alpha, right? So bugs are bound to happen. Still, I agree with you on minion colors.

I really hate the snowball event. When it abruptly ends I end up burning my flash on accident....

[zombie-nunu-bummed] there should be a hang-time that prevents that some how.

other pet peeves.

  1. the cursed minion buff is HELLA strong and game winning on itself. It should last for like one minute not two.
  2. the blitzcrank buff is way too annoying to play against as a permanent addition. It should only last like 2 minutes or something.
  3. no cool fun time music? for such a wacky mode some upbeat music would be appreciated like the URF theme for at least the first 4 minutes or so of gameplay.
  4. Using the champion cannon is clunky. I dont know how to pan the camera via minimap without firing myself. ALSO the 1s of being unable to take action is obnoxious.

Check settings for a minion color option.

Way back when blue side was always blue regardless of your team And purple side (now red side with the SE map update) was always purple/red
I think it was either late season 5 or mid season 6 that the option "relative team colors" was added in settings - enables by default

The setting makes it so regardless od your side your minions are always blue and enemies always red

Maybe for some reason its not enabled by default for this mode?

The random nexus win condition is the worst offender IMO. That one is much more frustrating than rewarding, by a large margin... The single most BS game I've seen in a game in a really long time.

I actually think the mode is either really fun/horrible. Its complete chaos but thats what makes it special. I didnt like the buggy map tho,like you are in some TeS construction set. The map looks really bad at most places and you can literally clip out of the map. Also jg turrets are like really strange. Sudden death for an example is also strange but it makes a good excitement for the game. You can literally win if you solo backdoor/they are too offensive after 15 mins. Chaos

I love it, it's so fun, all they need to do is polish it.

Bug i've encounterd so far was my ultimate ability doing on CD, but doing no damage or not even appearing as the particle itself - i have a pic, but im sure none of you think id be making this up

I personally didn't have an issue with minion colors, but I can see how it could be. I do, however, have an issue with the brush on the map. It feels way too small, but as dangerous. Just harder to ward. Overall, I agree that the mode is way better if you get the early advantage. Otherwise, it's an unforgiving slog for any sign of progress.

In summary: Fun, but still needs some work.
