I'm not a pro at this game. I'm not a god at this game (yet lol). And yes, i'm working on climbing out of elo hell. But there is one thing that I know I can say and there isn't a single thing ANYONE could say to prove me wrong. If you are que'd for ranked, you get autofilled to a position you are not comfortable with and/or you don't have champs that can play safe and hold there own in that role (usually jungle or top lane) and nobody is willing to switch with you....YOU HAVE TO DODGE!!!

A lot of people in low elo have this idea that they are the most special player and can just say "Hey, I don't like jungle so i'm adc now. Sorry!!" or they might think "Nightblue made lux jungle work. I CAN TOO!!!" No you cant, he and thousands of other players in his rank have more knowledge and tactics to really be able to pull that stuff off, plus their teams usually consist of players who also have those tactics that you just aren't going to see in your ranked games. I'm not trying to sound smart, it really should just be common sense. If you just dodge, wait the 5 min and the -3 lp, you have a better chance of winning your game and more lp because you got the role you mentally prepared yourself for ,rather then risking 19 because your forced someone into doing a role even they weren't comfortable on or you tried something that really just doesn't work.

Did you know .. dodging a game doesn't protect you from getting autofilled next game.

You mean, there isn't a single thing anyone could say that would change your opinion.

"Your opinion about something" != "A fact describing that something"

In order to "prove you wrong", you would first have to provide proof that you are right. Until you do that, I can just decide to not share your opinion.

Actually I can prove you wrong.

1- expand your roles and learn more champions. I'm a Vel'Koz mid main but learned roles that I'm most likely to get autofilled, from support to adc. So I learned Sona (and mastery 7 on her) and Braum, and learned MF, Kai'sa, currently learning Xayah so I can play adc in case nobody wants to swap lanes.

2- there's a trick in the waiting queue. It's not guarantee but it's something and it tends to work for me. When you're waiting, never wait longer than the estimated waiting time. Like if the estimated waiting is 2 min, you wait to like 1 min and 5p seconds and reset the search queue. I tend to do that to avoid autofill and I'm rarely getting autofilled by it now.
