Is there some wave of bugs this patch that I should know about?
Havn't played league since before this patch, but like every top 20 posts on boards are all like bugs and stuff. What went down yall?

Yes.
Apparently riot has accidentally removed the hamster that powers the netcode, and the result is a massive number of bizarre bugs.
Most likely they are running around frantically trying to figure out where the hamster goes, and once it is replaced, it will all stop.
