Zero Sum Gain

Every other ult in the game (besides arguably Bard) gives immediate power to the ally team. Whereas Kindred's ult does not discriminate ally or foe; she just gets to choose when it pops. Sure it's impactful, but it's existence on the field works just as much in the enemy's favor as it does yours. And for what it does, there are far more reliable, less risky ults out there. Their ult doesn't make sense given their overarching theme either. At all.

It would only be a zero sum gain if kindred literally didn't have control of when her ult activates.

For example, if enemy team is full hp and your entire team is 1% hp, you can ult and save your team.

On the flip side, if the enemy team is 1% hp and your team is full hp, you can choose not to ult.

This is why having the option to ult is never a zero sum gain, it would be saying like iverns bushes are a zero sum gain too.

But you get where I'm coming from right? Nondiscriminancy makes it rather bland - this coming from someone who adores Kindred and their lore. I'd much rather have an ult with more "me" power, rather than sharing the wealth with the enemy team.
