Banner of Command QoL Change / Buff

New: Promote can now also target a friendly Inhibitor. When used on an Inhibitor, the next Cannon Minion that spawns for that lane is Promoted automatically. CD begins when cast on Inhib, not when the Siege minion spawns.

Context: This saves travel time to go promote a minion for a lane you don't want to go to, and makes the 120 second CD more relevant, as you don't have to wait for the Siege wave to spawn. This is especially important earlier in the game because Siege minions spawn every 3 waves pre-20 minutes, every other at 20-35, and every wave at 35+.

item 3060 +200 Health +60 Ability Power +20 Magic Resist +10% Cooldown Reduction

UNIQUE Aura - Legion: Grants nearby allies +20 Magic Resist and +75% Base Health Regen. UNIQUE Active - Promote: Greatly increases the power of a lane minion and grants it immunity to magic damage (120 second cooldown).

The items is just too rarely used. If you buy an Aegis, it's usually because you want the MR aura and will eventually upgrade to Locket, not often because you want to increase your split pushing while not in lane.

It's already pretty decent. This would actually be a buff, not a QoL change since you can activate it, leave it, and then be across the map and it goes off. It's a similar reason for Bard's heal costing so much.

Well the title had /buff on it :(

The item is fine but is used less than .3% of the time.

Mostly because it is undervalued, I still see so many AP supports going Locket. But personally I don't value the shield as much, especially when I already have a heal or shield.

But I have once taken two towers and an inhibitor as Soraka all by myself, just because I kept spamming Banner on bottom, and I wasn't even there myself, I was healing the teamfights in mid.

Big, big buff here. I think it is too big.

To get pressure in two lanes at once is something that should require skill or significant investment (managing minion waves or having a member of your team splitpushing). Banner of command alleviates this.

However, this change wouldn't alleviate this. It would negate it. You would get the pressure in another lane basically whenever you want. I don't know. I think this would be too powerful.

It would also give non-optimal use of the minion. You want that minion in your lane so you can protect it against the AD champions who could deal with it. If the point of the minion is to push a second lane, why would it have magic damage immunity?
