We should be ranked by how good we are as a player not as a 1v9 carry.

"Add a "true rank" for the tier you would be if it weren't for your noob teammates" Me: manages to hold my own and do really good but forced to watch the top and mid laners shut their brains off and feed for several games in a row.

(No i'm not saying its always a "muh team" situation where i always win and do good but my team is garbage. But i would rather be ranked by how good i am not how good my other teammates are.)

It should be a running joke that League actually uses an Elo system for a team game, but everyone takes the subject of Elo so, so seriously...

I'm not 100% sure how LP is calculated other than winning is (+) and losing is (-).

That being said, I kind of believe that your grade should probably impact how much that gain/loss is. Getting a C- or such in a win and an S- in a loss can be indicative of skill, though still not perfect.

Though truly, without using the mathematical aspects of the system alone, anything is subject to human bias [sg-zephyr]

this is a team game, it doesn't matter if you go 99999999/0 in one game. You still didn't manage to win, your team skills are not good enough to win. This is not a single player game or a 1v1 game this is a 5v5 game. You are as strong as your weakest member that is always going to be true no matter what team game you play
