Hecarim Ideas.

So, as I've gathered Hecarim is a jungler built for the Season 2 jungle and items. And he just doesn't work that well in the current jungle, with his Q damage reduction, passive giving like at most a item 1037 level of AD with his E for that one trample, then goes back to about a longsword and a half. So, I had a few ideas that I just want to get out there.

What if...

  • His passive worked like Vladimir's passive? Gain movespeed based off of AD and AD based off of movespeed. Does not stack with each other.

  • His E was a toggle that ramps up then plateaus in its movespeed boost, while the knock back works like Udyr's stun, trample one guy, get that little ring telling you you can't trample the guy for X amount of time. Drains mana to possibly Swain ult levels when he's at 100% movespeed.

  • Q maybe being a toggle as well, adding a cleave + a bit of range to his AAs with either a Jax-like attack speed buff or it allows him to AA while moving. I'd expect a move called Rampage to be Hecarim just savagely cleaving his target + anyone near him rather than spazzing out with his glaive. Works like Manamura, drains a hunk of mana per cleave. If not a toggle then a on hit effect that works like Voluc (Dawngate character). Hit Q, you get a brutal cleave that lowers in CD as you AA things.

  • W's CD can maybe be reduced... But that might leave the issue in him getting 2 of them off in a teamfight. He can drain tank so much damage with a competent team, and just with his AoE, his own drain tanking is impressive. Or just improve its duration, because 4 seconds is a little silly.

Thoughts?

I like 1, 2 and 4. However 3 doesn't work properly (reference: Skarner)

Hecarim is bad in this season. The problem I find is he has such low sustain in Jungle early game that he can barely do blue>another camp> then red without dying. They should slightly raise the heal cap for jungle creeps to compensate.
