Rammus Question

As a formal Rammus fan and main player, i always wondered, why he got gutted so hard everytime he see some kind of love from player ? Rammus get countered by a tons of thing in league. Even champions kit counter him , ... and pretty much any champions with a bit of Mobility. I just find the Q range nerf and , damage, cooldown were overkill assuming he received tons of nerf since his release. I don't ask for E revert to 3 second taunt. 2,25 is already strong for a point and click CC spell. His W feel weak a bit thought, assuming it used to give 250 armor and 250 magic resist on release. I just wish they would revert the unneccessary nerf he received lately. I'm a top Rammus main and it hurted me alot more than jungle rammus.
