@Riot can we stop putting 3 infernals when a team is losing hard?

Never had 3infernals happen with a ''good'' game ive only had 3 infernals on my team or the enemy team because a team was 10-0 by 10 minutes.

Oh one teams 10-0? Lets put an infernal. Oh they got infernal? Lets put another infernal. Oh they're 15-6 now? Lets put a third infernal.

Dude

Stop Thats extremely toxic in this game is getting absolutely annihlated from damage. We already have enough damage in the game thanks to thunderlords decree and fervor. We dont need anymore

Riot doesn't control the dragon spawns, Each dragon spawn has an equal chance of a different dragon spawning. The fact they got 3 inf drakes is just bad luck for you guys. EX: 4 drakes, each has a 25% spawning.

I don't think you understand what "random" means...

Random? It really doesnt sound random when this is the most frequent thing happening. 3 infernals for the snowballing team

I have noticed a number of games where the only drakes that spawn will be 3 of one kind, maybe 2 of another and the other 2 won't even be seen. But then again I've seen plenty that were diverse as well. This is partly why I try to force my jungler into getting early dragons in matches. Gives us a mild advantage towards possibly getting the next.

I agree. IMO, it needs to NOT be completely random. It should be "random, out of the pool of available dragons". No overlaps from existing killed ones.

I honestly would prefer more dragon types to reduce the odds further of the same dragon appearing,

Just be grateful that after one team has 3 it stops spawning and there isnt a 4th and 5th possible.

If they put logic in to limit the type of drake that spawns, that would negate the random spawns.

Look at it like this - if you are against a team that is up 10-0 in kills, my guess is that two things are true:

  1. You aren't getting a drake soon anyway, no matter what type. I main jungle and I can tell you that invariably, when I'm on a team that is down, it's like pulling teeth to convince bot or mid lane to help secure a dragon, and going alone is basically giving the enemy team a free kill along with the dragon.

  2. The other team doesn't need a drake to continue whooping you. When they're up in kills, they're likely up in gold from farm and objectives also, and they didn't get to 10-0 by being outplayed. But they'll get whatever drake is available anyway just to deny your team any sort of advantage.

I do understand what your complaint is, and there is validity to drakes helping teams snowball, but random is random. Remove the random nature, or weight certain situations and it's no longer chance that spawns the fire drakes

You said it yourself. If a team is 10-0 in kills then the losing team will not get a drake. So why put 3 infernals? Its like the most common thing now when teams are winning extremely hard

Well it's random. The point is that in my experience, the type of drake doesn't really matter when you are down that much early

The RNG is pretty harsh. But honestly the system could be tweaked a bit. Like the 5 possible dragons being shown in champ select.

EX. In champ select/banning above the map it shows 3 fire dragons an Air and a ocean drag so you know that they will spawn(but not the order). Have the system where It's completely random from game to game but atleast you know what is possible and can pick champs appropriately.

So if you decide to play that gnar jungle and 3 fire dragons happen to spawn its your fault instead of RNG hating on you.
