Mastery 6 and 7 Changes? How much are we getting screwed over this time?

So in the new Ask Riot they casually drop the fact that unlocking mastery 6 and 7 through Hextech crafting isn't great and is something they want to improve. Well no frikin duh. Players complained about this when it first came out and your just NOW realizing that? GEEZUS RIOT. So what I'm wondering now is how much your going to screw over all of us that upgraded tons of characters with this system (have 16 atm, 1 more i've got ready, and 4 others in progress, and 2 more i could easily get if i had more time to play), and how long I have to wait to find out what to do with the badges i still have waiting. God knows I won't get that IP back.

In the post they also stated they want more transparency for the grading system. Again GEEZUS RIOT! People have been asking about this since it came out as well, and the official response for months basically boiled down to GIT GUD SON. While its nice that your finally pulling your head out your butt, woulda been nicer if you'd done it when people first complained about this.
