Thoughts on Reav3's Tier 1 Priority List for VGUs

New Roadmap! So again after one year,Reav3 can you give us another new update on the tier 1 VGU list?

He also added Shaco and Udyr to that list. DrMundo - This awful abomination of a champion should keep none of his kit and Riot should focus on the idea of hurting himself to hurt others. Corki - Honestly with Corki I think they should keep his Q and his conversion passive, but besides that I think he should get everything else changed. Chogath - keep the Consuming everything for stats idea, but remove the rest of the kit especially his passive and his silence. Fiddlesticks - Easy, keep his drain in some way and his Ultimate. 100% remove any targeted, ranged, hard CC on a basic ability. Nocturne - Just make him less Ult reliant. Probably keep the Paranoia atleast, but change everything else. Pantheon - Make his Q and skill shot, and change his passive, W, and E. Rammus - Keep Q and W. Change everything else. Skarner - Remove the stupid pillars(I know I miss Dominion too so just bring it back instead of this stupid mini game), and make Q an ability. Shyvana - https://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/skin-champion-concepts/ufAopG0X-shyvana-full-scale-gameplay-update-idea-and-a-shyvana-medium-gameplay-update-idea Volibear - Keep the idea of Thunder Bear and change all his abilities. Shaco - Keep Boxes and make him less clunky. Probably new E. Udyr - Obviously keep the idea of forms, but give him actual abilities.

If anyone has any ideas I would love to hear them.

Shaco will most likely be the hardest champion on this list to rework, for the core reason, when riot reworks a champion, they normally let htem keep a minimum of one ability, for that abiltiy is so core to their identity, but when you think of shaco, you think of all four of his abilities, hell you even think of his passive, every ability is core to him. His daggers, his boxes, his clone, if you got rid of even one of them the community would riot, no clue how riot is going to approach this problem, and they are most likely aware of this which is why they don't ever wanna touch him.

The shaco community is small, but very loud, whoever takes up this task is up for a very difficult one.

100% agree. I personally love the boxes, but if he lost them and they went onto someone else that would be fine just do not remove the boxes from the game. They are so fun and frustrating I love them.

They could evelynn him.

What I mean by that is basically keeping everything the same but shifting him in a way where its more balancable and fair. . His Q could be item 4001 , but he only gets stealth when he hits level 6 as a passive of his ultimate (which is the clone). W could be the same thematic, but maybe like GP's barrels, where they're always visible but after a delay they pop up, fear everybody in the area, and shaco himself could activate them earlier by using his shiv. Those boxes would be easier to properly place and jungle clear. Passive could be "if shaco hits a target from behind, they are feared" instead of the bonus damage, this way he's more consistent with the added utility, still has the same gameplay feel, but early game isn't a toxic cheese pick.

Also semi disagree with Corci, I think his toolkit is very fine, and fun, i just wish he could be viable bot lane again without breaking mid lane corci

I mean for me I would mainly like to see and E change and a removal of the Package. Ever since the Package was added he is been in a bad spot, either too good or too weak.

Any chance they'd let Fiddle keep his Drain somewhere in his new kit? Aside from Crowstrom, I always felt like his Drain was another signature ability.

Frosted Tips2 votes

Actually meant to say keep that as well. Yeah I agree with you.

Corki should stick with his R, one of the few reason to even play corki is his R.

I'm not opposed to this just curious why you like it so much? I find it kind of a bland way to get sheen procs, kind of like old Irelia Ultimate, except she used hers for lowering minions to reset her Q on.

Do you not remember AP corki of season 3? before they reworked him into what he is now? His ult cooldown recharge time and castime scaled off CDR. He would play like a air bomber and spam R while using W to position himself, he was an artillery poke champion.

Aren't ultimate abilities supposed to feel... well... ultimate? Corki's R seems like it'd be a better fit for a basic ability these days.

Nobody is talking about Malphite? I guess Riot just decided to increase his AP ratios for the LULS and now he's just a meme.

But really, I'd put him near the top of the list.

I mean I agree I was just using Reav3's list he gave out.

Yea, Malphite lacks an identity. He is just a big rock literally... And his gameplay except maybe his ult is kinda boring, uninteractive and too simplistic.

And his laning is horrible. He has like a good poke and waveclear, but no mana to use it. Even more useless than the Butchered Galio on his first lane.

All Malphites can really do these days is Rush a Ludens echo, so they can scale and build AP and do some Ult Assassinations. Seriously I thought this guy was a tank... But there is really no benefit to building tank on this guy, you don't have enough mana to lane, you'll just exist.\

But yeah, his kit doesn't hold up today, as like some stone behemoth. He's not intimidating, he doesn't have weight. Sion, Galio Ornn, Urgot, Sejuani - Those guys hit like trucks and are intimidating tanks. Malphite isn't. His spells make no noise, his autos lack impact. He doesn't feel like a champion who weighs tons. Doesn't feel like/act like a living mountain.
