While Shaclone & Blue Shen might be trolling, he has a point

How is it not toxic to ban a champion that someone on your team has as pick intent? Can't we make it so that if someone intends to pick a champion then the own team can't ban that particular champion?

EDIT: Before you say that I'm wrong, please specify what is the downside of implementing this change?

It's not always toxic. If someone on your team wants an extremely OP champ, but they're last pick. What do they expect? It'll make it to them? Likely they won't even get to pick it anyway, which is the same as having it banned against you anyway. "... you get a free lose mate". Sorry this is the 2nd video from this guy that I've seen. Pretty much think that he'll never have any reasonable ideas because he just seems so toxic. Like he's a stereotypical frat boy from Hollywood or something.

If someone bans someone, it can be because they just don't wnat to play with or against it. It is their ban. I bet this guy would also say "tough shit. It's my pick" if he picks a champion people don't want to play with on their team... but when it's in reverse, and it's not HIS decision (aka the ban), he feels like he has some say in it anyway.

The answer to toxicity is not more toxic behavior.

Maybe if he wasn't an infamous troll people wouldn't ban his champ I don't see anyone banning riven when they have boxbox on their team

Shaclone makes himself out to be a victim only resorting to toxic behavior to "defend himself" or exact revenge when the truth is the shaco ban was result of a long history of his own toxic behavior

it's called Karma

I only do it when I see people want champs that screw over the team comp hard, most of the time teemo top or yi jungles since most of them do nothing but play in their own world but demand to be ganked for, fed, and AFK farm

Shaco is one of these as well. Adds little to teamfights but damage and most of the time never groups

I always ban Riven even if someone in my team has pick intent on her. Because I know it is unfun and toxic to play against.

I just say "oh sorry didnt see xd " and move on.

People might not want to face that champion and in case your not picking first, there always a chance to lose it.

They could implement that though, if your the first to pick a champion (not sure how possible it is to do it)...
