Any Kassadin mains/ Old players out there can help?

I'm having extreme trouble playing kassadin. Its like hes supposed to be this hyper-carry but how

I buy tear-rod whatever finish those by like 25-30

My question is

What time do you normally finish tear?
How come it feels like ''oh they built 1 fucking MR item boom you cant kill them''

I fought a draven that had a maw. I was fed as hell. Went lich bane rod yada yada

Boom. Couldnt kill him at all. My whole combo would do roughly 40% of his health.

Void staff doesnt help especially if you go abyssal instead.

Its like kassadin has absolutely no damage..?

the secret for kassadin to drop carries is to have rab cap + void staff completed. and to make sure you have 4 stacks on the riftwalk that you actually get damage from, not just as a gap closer.

lich bane also offers absurd damage for him.

yeah its true if someone has MR, you arent going to 1hko them, but then again no mage will. the difference being you had to commit whereas some other mage didnt. leaving kassadin in an awkward spot, you can zhonyas waiting for another round of CD's or you can flash out.

but you could destroy a whole team with 1 rift walk, its stronger than LB W when stacked. which is why kassadin builds mana.

he should have tear completed by 17~20minutes, but you should be using Q and E often. and R back to lane.

And no i literally mean when people build MR he does absolutely no dmg... lol

boots you ask? does kassadin even have feet? (fine take out either zhonyas or void and put them as a second item) you dont need 40% on kassadin, his CD's are low enough as is.

go full M pen (14), and scaling CDR if you absolutely need it, magic res is very nice in lane, ap is meh.

also consider this, you have roa, lich, and AA, seraphs is going to give you over 100 bonus AP from your mana pool.

You need zhonyas

You need rod

you need void

you need lich

you need all these core items and theres no room for anything.. thats my issue.

So do you suggest i just dont buy boots?

buy boots, sell boots later, buy 6th item, hes one of the few champions that can do without boots.

you can build other items, just know you wont be killing squishies (bursting them down) yourself but rather opting for a different goal in mind.

if you do build tear you can opt out of roa for something else for mana constraint reasons only. but roa and AA work wonders together. and the health is nice.

kassadin really does only have one build path, everything else is situational, for you to decide.

Tbh thats the thing. I love kass but i think he needs a buff. He needs too much to be good

Rod + Zhonyas + Lich bane + Tear + boots + deathcap = No room for void staff.... Lol
