What ever happened to this retune?

Let's talk about Lee Sin retune

I actually really liked all of the changes... It forces lee sin to build ad if he wants to deal damage rather than just giving him free stats... What is wrong with that?

Just look at the downvotes, all the Lee Sin freelo kids got upset over it and since riot cares about that specific subset of players more than any other for some reason, as well as the flashy bullshit plays he enables, it's probably dead in a ditch somewhere (where Cass' rework should've ended up)

This is the actual answer. The forums and Reddit blew up with Lee Sin fans to such a degree that Riot backed down. Yes, really.

I know, but why don't we talk about it anymore? I mean they already have a solution to lee sin why not just implement it at this point?

I remember even proplayers whining that "i want my early game DOMINANCE to be DOMINANT!"

Basically what everyone else said. Lee's followers got REALLY pissy and Riot backed off because they didn't want to mess up on such an iconic/high visiblity character.

"Community Outrage" They mostly responded to LCS player bickering though. Lee's a huge money maker for pro players, riot like money so there's a mutual benefit thing going on over #BigLC$Play$

So are we still at that point? Because I feel like now the Lee Sin fan boys are being over shadowed by the rest of the community.
