Miss Fortune is in fact the best low elo ADC
I can't believe you guys are all obsessing over Yasuo, Zed, Vayne, Kha (even Riven) all this time when the REAL OP in low elo is
and has always been.
I'd say she's been OP for 3+ seasons. Lethality doesn't have to be busted for her to farm up a massive win rate.
- Super strong laning phase (there are maybe only TWO ADCs capable of even dueling her in lane)
- Super strong team fight with her AOE easy-to-use R (just TWO items almost enables her to 1 shot all squishies, 3+ items and it is a one shot)
- Supposedly weak autos but even with a Lethality build, your autos plus your Q upfront deals 75-85% of the fully built Crit ADC's damage (a very good deal considering you have the OP R on top)
- You have more utility than most ADCs with your AOE slow E
Now here's why she's the absolute Queen of ADCs in low elo.
You can almost 100% count on these scenarios:
- Every time the enemy team makes a Catch on someone other than me, 3 to 4 other people will likely jump on that person too, allowing me to Ult them (and they won't learn from this within the game I'm playing)
- Even if they figure out to focus me with someone like Hecarim, Jarvan, Zac, Malphite etc... I create a list in my head with all of the dangerous Anti-Bullet Time characters. I hang around the fight but I don't Show until they Show. When they Show (and they will because they are low elo and they are always more impatient than me) i.e. when they engage on another Catch or for some reason fight the front line... I move in and Ult and win the team fights.
- No one can bully me out lane me if I have MF's kit. At worst they go even because I can scare them off from bullying me with the THREAT of my Q/Ult.
- More experienced teams can be completely gimped by the mere THREAT of my Ultimate once I've demonstrated its power in 1 or 2 team fights. The mere threat of the ultimate (it doesn't even have to be fired) forces their entire team to play differently and in very unfamiliar formations.
- By simply picking her (and mostly focusing on When and Where to press R as opposed to kiting and spacing), I dramatically decrease the probability of screwing up any team fight compared to the other AD who will actually have to play AD mechanically (think Vayne, Ezreal or Draven for example).
- Even with my supposed "bad autos" and with a Lethality build, my autos On-Hit still deal 75-85% of a fully built Crit ADC's damage and I can STILL alter my build so that my Ult/autos can punch through medium tanks. I mean, that's a pretty good trade off overall on top of the Ult.
And obviously, when your team DOES have the front line (ex Malphite/Kled) and they know what they are doing, she's even more OP. But as I've stated in Point 1 (the enemy team always jumps on the Catch), you don't need a proper front line combo to use R. She works in EVERY comp because of low elo norms.
...
I don't care that she's not used in competitive, I don't care that she's not rated S/God Tier all the time in Climb tiers.
She's the most powerful ADC in low elo. If you're patient and calculated with your Rs and you know her laning phase, she's completely broken.
The LCS/high elo is a completely different game. Down here...
Miss Fortune = Queen of ADCs
