Can we stop this "Better botlane wins meta"?
I'm a top laner
90% of the games I won my botlane won, and 90% of the games I lost my botlane lost.
What a surprise, 0 correlation right? I'm fucking done with this better botlane wins meta.

We all are. Quit ranked till late season in hopes they gut bot. It works for me so far.
Its not "better botlane wins" meta. Its the go botlane, get kills, take turret, wins meta. Bot lane is very rarely decided in 2v2. This mantra people speak just sounds like people want to sit in their own respective lane for 20 minutes with no interruptions like its a 1v1. And if you win said 1v1 in 20 minutes, you deserve to win the game.
The game hasnt been that way in awhile, and why people continue to cry about it is beyond me. Even botlaners cannot sit botlane all game or they will lose. They are expected to rotate mid/top as soon as the turret drops, generally by mid/jg pressure, ganks, tps.
This game isn't 1v1. Even botlane itself is a complete crap shoot, where you are guaranteed to get 3-4-5 manned every single game. If its not your team doing it, its theirs. Every meta has a strategy, and it hasnt been "win my 1v1 by 20cs and I win the game" in a long ass time, so why people continue to whine just blows my mind.

90% of the statistics are made up on the spot and framed as anecdotal evidence.
I mean when you have a class who's entire premise is a ranged glass cannon which was steadily buffed and loaded with stronger items and when support abilities and items begin to show up which promote protecting one thing (
it gets to the point where the metas mindset goes "Well why bother doing anything else but play around the glass cannon?"
If bot lane determined games as you say, then you should be playing ADC and be winning majority of the time. [slayer-jinx-wink]
Junglers also have a huge impact on the game as well.
Most of the games on this account are one for alls...
pick Irelia, 1v5 dive ADC. Youll kill the ADC 10/10 times because irelia is "balanced".
You should probably look towards adopting a different strategy. You'll come face to face with the Trick2G dilemma playing such a strategy in high elo. Your team feeds their asses off and they don't understand the rotations and the gatez. You can't win any games and can't have any fun.
to make matters worse...
whenever I play bot lane more than half the time it just feels like I can't do anything except farm and watch my Supp get destroyed over and over... so sad...
So likely people who play Bot aren't exactly enjoying themselves and their high dependency on Supports either.
If you want to have real fun, play Mid lane.
I mean other lanes do have that type of potential. You may think that well if top goes 0 and 6 then the game is still winnable, well that depends greatly on who is top if you have

, Jungling is kind of different because so many of them are kind of like team supports (Tanks, cc machines, tanky bruisers, etc.) actual carry junglers are few between. but my point still stands

I am also a top-lane main, and let me narrow down this stupid generalization. If you're a fighter (top) and your bottom loses, you have a small chance of winning. If you're a fighter (top) and your bottom wins, you have a higher chance of winning. If you're a tank (top) and your bottom loses, you have no chance of winning If you're a tank (top) and your bottom wins, you have a very high chance of winning There, fixed it, you're welcome. If you're not a hard adc murder top laner you have no chance of coming back.
[If you're a top laner and you win your lane, it's still 50% chance that your bottom will win or lose simply because your impact is so minimal. By the chance you can intervene, their/your jg will destroy the bottom lane]
lol yup. If their bot wins they rotate and take the other towers... and then its like k game lasts 40 min or 20 min... depends on how well they group and end with their 5-6k gold advantage. Its usually a stomp though unfortunately... too much gold on tower kills esp the first, and then towers are basically useless/made of paper now.
