@Riot Suggestion of a new choice to address support's gold problem.
New Mastery tree starting from this option:
Name: I'm here to help Effect: You start the match with a sightstone. The sightstone from this mastery don't give any extra health. Side effect:** You receive a fraction of any gold received by killing a minion and/or monster.** This restriction don't apply to face of the mountain and it's derivatives.
I'm studying economics now at my university and i remember reading a very powerful statement that "people respond to incentives" can pretty much explain how everything economically works in one of the chapter from my microeconomics book.
Applying that to league, I believe that decreasing the incentives for farmers to pick this mastery will open space to maybe a few new options like the one i just said and help us to address more of the support role problems with the time. If we create a complete new tree just for supports starting from this mastery i think it's easy to see that players that depend of farming would not pick anything from it, and we might have cool new options for supports because of that.
Some examples of options of upgrade for this supportive tree:
1- Boost mobility boot on the shop [gives more movement speed when out of combat and lower the cost] 2- Increase even further the amount of gold you receive when nearby minions dying. 3- Rewards assistances with a temporary movement speed bonus + increased life and mana regen. 4- Allow you to pick a second keystone
Etc.
I hope you guys can comment on this ideia and people could put their idea on that too. Thank you very much! :)
