Cho'gath needs a rework badly

Just had one low level, walk up, stand under my turret and burst me to dead when I had 80% hp i'd say. Absolutely no fear of the turret, he took maybe 3 hits from it, barely any damage. Does anyone understand how stupid that is? And why is his ult true damage wtf...lower his tank stats and change his ult. And no there's nothing I could have done because like usual, Riot loves to troll and gives him a long silence...

my question is how did you let a cho get that big. like yes, ap cho can nuke- like alot of other champs... but his q is one of the easiest skill shots to avoid.

Early game it's actually quite difficult to avoid.

I used to main cho.

if you find cho's Q hard to avoid, you must work on your dodging skills a lot. It is easily the easiest to dodge skill in the game. It is telegraphed and delayed and it has a huge CD and a big mana cost.

Against any competent opponent I hold on to Q until either i sense my opponents tunnel vision enough to not pay attention to dodging (I'm bronze, it happens) or they are CCed already.

how are you getting hit?

You couldn't possibly be more wrong. I fell in love with Cho'Gath at first sight, and have been maining him ever since I bought him, which is about two years and 3 quarters. I currently have 250k mastery points with him. I'm NOT getting hit, I'm hitting other people EARLY game with it a lot more than I should be hitting it. For example, I use it, and the person reacts fairly quickly, but they get hit anyway. This happens about 75% of the time. Honestly, I think it should start off a little smaller and become bigger late game, because hitting it late game can be a nightmare (no pun intended) sometimes.

Also, the cooldown isn't really that short. 9 seconds can be considered slightly above average.

ok if cho is beating you up (which he shouldn't usually), why don't you try first buy boots? surprise, he's gunna out sustain you in the end... but thats cho. thats about the only tip i can give for ya.

He's a monster when he's fed. He's not all that useful when he's not. Any champion can burst you down under turret when fed and walk away without almost a scratch. I think that's more a problem with turrets being weaker this season than anything else.

you have to dodge the skill shots to beat him

Yeah let me go ahead and dodge his silence that he blows in my face at about 2 feet away...i'll get right on that buddy!

git gud baddie

If you can't dodge a 0.5 second delayed ability, then I don't think this game is the one for you, considering the amount of skillshots you simply can't avoid.

Plus the fact that you played nothing but Nasus already made your thread highly invalid & pointless.

no this bs champion just needs a rework, it's absolutely retarded to make a tank do that much burst damage with such low cd's. Add on his silence makes you absolutely screwed if you get near him. He's dangerous in a teamfight too with his knockup which can peel in a spit second.

u play nothing but nasus, into every single matchup... and ur bad and can't even beat cho with him, so therefore he's bs and needs a rework

seriously, stfu. stop crying and learn to play the game kid.

I really think silence is THE SINGLE most op debuff in the game.

AOE and setup an unconquerable wombo combo. because they can't move. More strategic and situational/dependant debuffs could be substatially better.

For instance a de-buff that removes current buff. What about a "Disarm" ability that cause the player to lose their most expensive item for a short time.

there are several other I have thought of but silence since most are aoe and next to un-dodgeable (especially without boots) I guess Il; just flash....oh wait.

Knockups are way worse. I don't know what you're complaining about. You can't even build tenacity.

Yes champ update has confirmed that they would like to take a look at cho as his kit is really outdated. Not sure when though he seems alright atm

Cho'gath is only good on ARAM when you can't really dodge his Q in a teamfight...

that's it.
