5.22 puts Mages in a verry bad spot
1st the removal of mana-Potion: We are in earlygame and u have no mana? well fuk u we wont give u mana Best scenario: being vs an energy or resourceless champ that loughs his ass of while you try to cast a spell. Also mana potions we're pretty balanced if u took them early u did trade mana for health idk why they were removed
2nd lifesteal buffs, so you cant oneshot me? Well ill just heal myself to 100% within 3 seconds on that creepwave. Honestly I understand why alot of people considered the lifesteal on cutglass as too small or wanted lifesteal on Mercurial because in teamfights it seems like your lifesteal is almost none helping but this is suposed to be ofc u shouldnt survive a 5 v 1 as adc because of ur lifesteal and u still don't but because of those buffs and the new masteries poking champs - poking mages because every mage needs to poke unless he can oneshot you become super useless now.
3rd You are a lategame champ that wants to towerfarm or you are low and want to hide under a tower? Great news for you zed or any assasin can now be healed by all dmg they do and get 12% of the dmg u get as a bleed effect which they can easily nullify on a minon they also have the movementspeed of hell so they dont even need to blink to you they can just walk to you even if ure under ur 2nd tower well u wont get a shield anymore...
and on top of this all ure items are more expensive now.....
Edit : Also: MR buffed every fukin thing has crit now even passives making IE godlike gravious wound buffed for AD mr buffed lifesteal buffed AP items cost increased crit buffed damage reduction buffed for AD
