Yasuo's Windwall

This ability has to be one of the most annoying abilities in the game.... I'd love it if they gave him a new ability. I didn't quite understand this... why can syndra's w ignore windwall when she's clearly picking something up and throwing it...when she can block the 2nd part of kat's q when it flies into the air and drops.
