Great Ozymandius1 votesYou can remove duskblade, but you'd have to rebalance all of the assassins. It would be a pain.
How would you rebalance? Increase ad scalling? Champs would be more snobally. Increase base ad? You'd get tank/assassin builds like bruiser fizz.
The nice thing about duskblade is that, despite giving a really strong powerspike, additional increases in power after duskblade are much smaller. It's a good way to give ad assassins the possibility of snowballing early and winning the midgame without letting them run completely amok.
ALL MłGHT1 votesI'm pretty sure the pain of balancing assassins is the reason why they haven't removed Duskblade. Remember when Duskblade was barely introduced? AD casters used it and abused -> nerf/balanced. Jungler used and abused it -> nerf/balanced. It would be a headache to deal with and will ONLY happen in off season probably, if it were to happen.
