I don't really understand the new Poppy
I've been trying to play her as a jg, like I've played her before she was reworked, but her niche isn't particularly clear to me now.
With the old Poppy, it was clear: Ult the support, activate ghost and W, then make a bee line for the ADC or mid. Her Q chunked so hard that late game Poppy was literally the worst thing in the world.
Now, much of her mechanics have changed significantly, and it isn't clear at all what her niche is.
Her AD scalings are so abysmally low that it doesn't seem like it's efficient building AD. Her innate tankiness, however, suggests a bruiser build, but without terrain, she lacks a lot of "stucking" power someone like Darius or Vi have. Likewise, building straight tank isn't as effective because then she becomes this mediocre, beefy, Mundo wannabe with no damage compensation that would make her a threat like he is.
Her ult is probably the most confusing thing. For the huge damage it brings, why give it this kind of utility? I've been using it as a way to peel my allies or force a fight by knocking away some enemy teammates off towers, making it 3v5 or 2v5, but the temptation to use it as a finisher is so great that it poses a risk of saving the target if it doesn't quite kill them.
How do you play Poppy and what do you suggest when you build her?

and tank items maybe a hydra. Your ult can be used to one peel, put the enemy in a bad position. if your team decides to flank behind the enemy you can ult and send an enemy or two to you team or you can simple press R and tap it again quickly for a knockup in the area. it's longer than other knockups so you;ll have plenty of time to set up while the fall, for example you can have a nunu ult then you ult the enemy and when the enemy falls back nunu should be pretty far charged. you'r goal is to prevent the enemy from getting to your team. charging into the enemy team momentarily stops them from escaping with your w unless they use flash or a blink, this allows someone say zac or sejuani to engage onto the enemy without them being able to dodge with a dash. poppys goal is not to necessarily to hard engage onto the enemy but to set up for a hard engage.
