Maybe I sometimes don't want to get a million invites to games and look like an ass because I didn't accept or refused. Maybe I'm having a bad day and don't want friends to spectate me or message me in game. Maybe people want to play alone sometimes.
Yes please, my friend ask me to duo ranked but the thing is he isnt that good. We often lose but i cant say no or play without him because i dont wanna hurt his feelings 😢😢

Why are you guys looking for excuses for it to be not added to the game? It's just something that would be nice as it seems like most games also has this feature. If you don't like a feature, don't use it.

Oh, on a sidenote, do whatever the fuck you want, nobody can make you join games, and if they don't like it, well sucks to be them.
For me personally... anyone that spammed invites, and they didn't play well consistently, I just unfriended - worked for me as now when I get invites they are people I want to play with.

Personally, I really don't like when games, or any site/app have this "invisible" option. Just feels like I'm wasting my time when I'm waiting for them all the while they're their avoiding me.
Or just learn to say no?
