Does zed apply the mark upon pressing R, or does zed actually have to go through his animation? By extension, If you zhonya's before he completes the R animation, does it still mark you, or would it be better to let him mark you and then zhonya's the secondary damage?
Rozair2 votesIf you zhonias before his animation finishes if he uses both his q and e like all zed do you will take 0 damage unless he auto attacks you when it ends or waits to use his moves like a smart Zed. It depends what league your in really.
JustSir1 votes...Im silver 4 embarrased...but i was never placed in bronze and ive only been playing for 4ish months. Went strait to Silver 5 and can out play most every yas, im just having trouble with silver zed's because they have no problem tower diving for a kill even though it kills them too.
My friends are diamonds and they got me into the game so i have the mindset of a diamon, but the mechanics of a silver at the moment...but i practice pretty much every day and have my average cs at 10min to about 70
Vistha Kai2 votesThe moment he applies the Mark is when he "hits" you at the end of his animation. If you are untargetable durning that time for any reason, the Mark is completely not applied.
As for whenever you should Mark the application or the damage is up to you.
My call is that there is a chance that, if timed perfectly to block the Mark, not the damage, Zed can waste a spell, such as his E, so it's a bit safer if Zed can still kill you without the Death Mark.
JustSir1 votesThanks! Having trouble with silver zed's...apparently they think it's "worth" to dive for a kill even if it kills them and they have no jungle support...very frustrating...its pretty much a lose lose minus the 300 gold he gets
