Why does Kogmaws passive get blocked by minions, etc.

It kinda sucks being an untargetable void creature, trying to explode someone but getting stopped and essentially flailing left and right because of minions. Which by the way I don't know about everyone but the creep blocking lately has been INSANE. I cant tell you how many kills I've been denied or how many times I've been saved because of how bad creep blocking is right now.
