The difference between win and loss feels is massive.

Most wins are stomps and just generally feel like playing against ai, and losing feels like getting teeth pulled. The snowball to victory meta is getting real old, real fast riot :/

Fix the skillgap in matching making, and it'll feel better. I don't say balance the game better because riot apparently lost the holy tome of balance in a cave or something...

They have pushed too hard to make games shorter. The game snowballs too hard, too early, and then the rest of the game is just a stomp until either a massive throw, or it ends. Generally, ends in a win. And the sad thing is the snowball starts SUPER EARLY. Geting first turret gives your team a 73% chance to win. Getting Rift or Drake? 70%. Even first blood is something like 65%. What is that crap? That means a game is damn near decided in the first 5-10 minutes of the game. Its basically over at that point, and the resulting crap fest of a game is nothing but frustration, or even boredom, of stomping. Its not fun stomping someone out for 25 minutes. it get old. Nor is it fun losing for 25 more minutes on a game that was hugely out of your favor statistically 5 minutes into it. It creates incredibly frustrating, unfun games that feel completely out of your control. Unless you were the person who managed to secure that first objective. That guy who roamed bot at lvl 6 and got first turret, damn near solo won the game for his team.

It's not so much that getting first turret gives you a 73% chance to win, it's that winning teams are more likely have gotten the first turret. Getting first blood / turret / dragon generally indicates that your team is more coordinated or higher skilled than the enemy team. The objectives themselves don't necessarily grant such swings.

In theory, yes. But in application winning first turret, better team or not, is a huge gold +

I have put a lot of games in this season and as a player who has played every season of league i have to agree that games feel 1 of 2 ways.

A: You crush the other team to the point that they give up at 15 min or someone rage quits and they give up at 15 min

or

B: You get crushed so hard your whole team wants to give up at 15 mins or someone on your team rage quits and you have to give up at 15 mins.

I remember in every other season games were competitive and you would fight and claw your way through good games back and forth back and forth.

Riot has for sure made games end more quickly, which isnt a bad thing but this coupled with surrender at 15, the gold advantage from first tower the tower pushing advantage from Rift and most players being very sketchy in the early game leads to one team getting a huge 5-10k gold lead early and the average team simply cant come back from that.
