The One Thing I Hate About Being A Twitch Main

Your plays don't look impressive or flashy, or even like a play at all. Champions like Vayne, Kalista, Ahri, these highly mechanic based champions, you watch them make plays and think, "Wow, that must've been really hard to pull off. This is clearly a good [ChampionX] player."

But you make plays with Twitch and it's just, "gj." No recognition, nothing. Because his kit is so dull. His playstyle is entirely based on game mechanics, not champion mechanics. He doesn't have the mobility to kite people in a way besides orb walking. He can't dive into the enemy team, crowd controlling specific targets and then peeling himself back out after killing the backline. He's specifically geared to positioning yourself in the exact perfect spot, focusing the right targets, orb walking, and observing everything.

I don't understand why a Vayne gets more recognition for winning a 1v3 than Twitch does for single-handedy carrying the entire game, when Vayne is solely champion mechanics while Twitch is entirely game mechanics. I, personally, feel it's better for someone to play and observe the game perfectly than it is to play one champion perfectly.

I think if I see a twitch player with a positive KDA, I say "wow, this is a really good twitch player, he didn't just feed the crap outta the enemy team."

On a slightly more serious note, a Twitch that is ahead is insanely scary to deal with because of his ability to just appear in your lane and delete you with no warning. Scary stuff.

twitch is not hard to play at all. the only thing difficult about twitch is his lane phase because he has weak early dmg and no escapes. after lane u literally just sit in the back line ratatata the other team to death. he is very team reliant in that sense. if your team doesn't peel for you, then you are not effective

Very Hard Engage1 votes

ive been saying for forever that twitch has it in him to put out the necessary damage to kill 5 people, without damage from team mates, he just needs the right setup from the team to perform.

i haven't played twitch ever since they pub-stomped his Q, but last season, i remember jungle twitch being a very scary thing and actually required skill.

I am a twitch main with 220k points, I feel that making plays on him is more about positioning and using his ult and q right. Not as much mechanical skill as vayne maybe, not as much recognition for what you do because it doesen't look impressive, but it doesent matter what your team thinks if you are carrying them, right? I don't think you can really single handedly carry as someone like cait or mf without help from your team, but with twitch you can make game changing plays with little to no help, just like vayne, kalista etc., so I feel like a good twitch deserves recognition, as there is a pretty high skillcap imo. I can't see anyone being a graves or ashe main as much as I can see someone devoted to playing the rat.

This is pretty much exactly what I just said, but thanks for the acknowledgment ^^; But yeah he does have an extremely high skillcap but he's one of the most balanced champions in the game.
