Renekton has 4332 total HP. When Renekton is at 1332 HP, Renekton dies to Demacian Justice. Death recap and damage done is shown at 1725 true damage.
Since Renekton is missing 3000 HP, Garen's ult damage is 525+0.4*3000=1725. However, only 1332 damage was needed to kill Renekton. So, the potential damage vs actual damage is 1725 vs 1332.
Sire Hippington3 votesIf used optimally(which is even shown by an indicator) it would have killed rene from ~1600 hp, thats massive damage to be fair. And most of the time, it will be close to optimal case(like here) as it has an fucking indicator for then it will execute on your villian
i don't think garen is op as he got a lot of other problems, but that villian mechanic is just bullshit

56%? Renekton had 3532 HP, he hit R and got 4332. Where are you getting 56% from? 1332/4332=30.75% of max HP, Actual damage 1725/4332=39.8% of max HP, Over kill damage
