inconsistent spacing between champions and their hp/resource bar...

Is there anyway to make this spacing any more consistent? Some champions have a very large space between them such as Ivern that's literally a whole champion worth of empty space. This makes teamfighting hard because I typically never focus on a single enemy or ally in the heat of battle, instead I use my peripheral vision to guide my mouse and so many times Ive clicked the space between an enemy and their resource bar just to walk towards them and get killed instead of kiting and orb walking.

I'd post an image but I figured everyone would know immediately what I was talking about because it's very obvious!
