Just Played a game where I had two afks at around 10 minutes in....

I ended up sitting through a 30 minute game cause the remaining two members of my team refused to surrender as they thought we could have the "ultimate comeback" later.

Spoilers: it didn't happen...

I really don't want to sound belligerent or rude, but I think its time Riot started looking at a way to allow players to leave games like this where I'm fighting an impossible battle. I've never played Dota, but from what I know, if you're in such a situation you can leave early with no penalty?

I understand this could potentially compromise ranked (I mean DOTA does it somehow so clearly it can work but I see why people are afraid of it there), but enabling this feature in normals would be awesome and there would be no major downsides that I can see...

Riot if you read this, it would make a game that I really like feel much more... Just, I suppose.

I've had 4 of my teammates AFK before, not a good feeling

They are working on a less extreme version, where if someone AFKs in the first 5 minutes the game will automatically end.

If someone doesn't connect during the first 5 minutes of a match then you can just leave without penalty and the game doesn't count. Not sure why LoL never copied this simple no-brainer solution.

I'm getting a lot of AFKers lately too. Pretty sad. Riot needs to bring in the Ban Hammer. Ban people from ranked games for 3 months. See how many ranked games they AFK from then.

so we cant win teamfight, we cant take objectives, we cant split push, its 2vs100 lets surrender?

Mentioning DOTA usually has and adverse effect. Even if they were going to implement it, they wouldn't somply because it's associated with DOTA.

Yep. I went into a game, one person afk from start, one became afk about 15-ish minutes in and there was also a trolling bard . How are an Ashe and a Riven supposed to beat 5 other people?

They should have the system give more gold for kills if there are AFK on your team. Or at least the LP penalty should be decreased and the LP win should be increased. Or maybe both of the above.

Dota and leavue are different they share the moba name... so if u dont like league then you should go to dota
