Ekko changes

Lowering the damage of his ult by 50 does not warrant increasing its scaling by 20 percent, that's an unnecessary overly generous compensation.

So you will take about 90 damage (before resistances) more from a full build ap ekko? If you would rather keep tank ekko where he is, feel free to say so.

No, they just shouldn't increase the scaling at all, its not needed. Do you really think that an ult needs 150% AP scaling? Name one other champion who has that.

Wukong has a 400% ad ratio on his cc spell and thats ok why?

Wukongs damage is over a few seconds, Ekkos is an instant nuke.

And so what?

Wukong's Cyclone takes 1.36 seconds to reach the same 150% scaling as Ekko. The Knock up lasts for about 1.25 seconds. So that leaves you with 0.11 seconds to GTFO before the scalings match. Not easy to do. Monkey King wins.

Wukong has a 440% AD Scaling on his Ult. Scary shit. Lucian, with his Ult on a single target, has a 600% AD Scaling AND a 300% AP Scaling.

Keep in mind the Ult is never guaranteed damage. For AP Ekko it's usually used as a Get Out of Jail free card and not a "You all gonna die" button. I mean if he sets it all up well and the enemy team walks into the circle, I think they deserve the take the hit.

Fun Fact: The ability with the largest AP ratio is Annie Annie's Summon: Tibbers, with a maximum AP ratio of (+ 515% AP) counting initial cast of (+ 65% AP) and the target taking damage from all 45 ticks of tibbers aura damage ((+ 10% AP) per tick).

Like the other one, those are over time of a few seconds, Ekkos is an instant nuke.

I responded to this in another comment chain. Still though like I said... "Keep in mind the Ult is never guaranteed damage. I mean if he sets it all up well and the enemy team walks into the radius, I think they deserve to take the hit."

Because AP ekko is balanced. they arent just going to nerf his base damages without compensating AP ekko somehow. Besides, if you get hit by his ult, you deserve to die. To use your logic, name one other champ whose ult CD and location you can see as the enemy team.

Errr... I'm agreeing with you. Did you reply to the wrong comment?

eh, i got lazy and didnt feel like navigating through the endless maze of replies so i just picked the latest haha

Name another champion who has 0 ways of reliably ulting you? It could have 1000% scaling and you could literally go an entire match without ever getting hit by it since he has no way to make you walk into it.

It's to address tank ekko and buff ap ekko. Ap ekko isn't op, but tank ekko sure was/is.
