So I was thinking about what season 6 is going to bring, and I thought since the map, turrets, and jungle had all been changed, it's time for a minion change. Maybe a tank melee minion, similar to cannon minions is stats? Post your ideas, because I would love to read them! (edit: I also feel like the meta can change, but i'm not sure)
sp4411 votesWell, what is the biggest problem the game has this Season? Pre-Seasons generally aim to fix the issues of the previous one. Season 3 sook to put an end to the all-bruiser meta of S2, S4 emancipated supports from the tyranny of Ward slavery that they suffered through S3, and S5 stopped Junglers from being so dominant and gameflow-controlling like they were in Season 4. It also tried to add more strategic diversity to the Jungle, but honestly, it backfired.

sp4411 votesI said strategic diversity, not champion diversity. Junglers act no different than they did in Season 4, the difference is that they're not kings of the game anymore. Junglers can't focus on farming the jungle to get as strong as Laners, nor can they expect to counterjungle with any amount of guaranteed success. Poacher's Knife is still completely worthless.

it isnt riots job to come up with ideas for us, just give us the tools. no matter what happens, unless they change the map, the strategy is likely to remain pretty much the same, because the players have decided what is best and arent letting go. there are tons of other strategies that work, but people will not employ them until a large number of professionals do it first and have success. that is not riots fault, this one is on us.
counter jungling works great, if your team knows what to do. split pushing is great, if your team knows what to do. support jungling works great, if your team knows what to do and doesnt flame you and call you a retard....but thats a lot of "if's" that are extremely rare. One of my favorite youtubers double jungles in master division and with success...but thats not "meta" and very few people will accept it as a strategy. I still get told that Gragas isnt a real support...there are plenty of other strategies if people would be brave enough to try them and put effort into fine tuning them to make them successful.
